LEADING scorer Liam McCreesh scored his eighth goal of the season in stoppage time to seal a comfortable victory for the Steelmen on Deeside.

Talbot got away to a flying start when Martin Rose received the ball from a long throw and turned to send an angled seven-yarder past keeper Terry McCormick with just 32 seconds on the watch.

Although Nomads enjoyed the better of the few chances in the first-half, they found visiting keeper Lee Kendall in fine form, tipping a long range Craig Jones effort over the bar, while Stuart Cook and Andy Olsen both wasted opportunities.

In a scrappy second half, the hosts' hopes were finally ended on 65 minutes when substitute Drew Fahiya headed the second goal just four minutes after coming off the bench.

And McCreesh ensured there was no comeback for Nomads when he rose highest to head past McCormick and leave the Deesiders still struggling fifth from bottom.
