NOMADS' Mark McGregor grabbed a lifeline in the fight for survival as Druids slumped to yet another single goal defeat.

The player-boss headed home at the far post from a right-wing corner 20 minutes from time to settle the contest.

The hosts had been resuced a goal line clearance and the woodwork in the first-half, with Ricky Wright clearing from a long throw and a shot rattling a post four minutes before the break.

Sam McNutt also blazed over for the visitors at the end of a solo run.

Druids might have taken the lead just past the hour an Aled Evans flagged kick was met by a strong header from TNS loanee Sean Jones which struck a defender on the line was was cleared to safety.

Three minutes later Aled Evans cut-in from the right and sent in a low curling shot which keeper Terry McCormick did well to palm away from goal and out of the path of Michael Taylor.
