Llanelli AFC vs Connah's Quay Nomads
JD Cymru Premier
Saturday 25th April 2009 | 2:30pm
Stebonheath Park, Llanelli | Attendance: 0
Runners up Llanelli were easy winners as they avenged a crucial league defeat at gap Connah's Quay earlier in the campaign.
There was never a hint of a repeat performance from the Nomads as the hosts cruised to a 4-1 win which hardly reflected their total superiority.
Lee Phillips opened the home account after 12 minutes before Rhys Griffiths notched his 31st goal of the season to double the lead. Midfielder Chris Holloway made it three soon after the break, with Paul Addo notching his first goal for the visitors to reduce the arrears.
But Jordan Follows, who was denied three times by the woodwork, finally got his reward and added the icing on the cake with a fine goal seven minutes from the end.
