Deeside Stadium, Connah's Quay | Attendance: 145

CONNAH'S QUAY put a dismal home defeat to Caernarfon behind them, but were far from convincing despite despatching basement outfit Cefn Druids 4-0.

It was the visitors who provided the early threat and Ryan Crawford's eight minute goal came against the run of play, as he latched onto a long ball before beating Louis Mackin.

Crawford struck again just before the break and within 11 minutes of the restart, Nomads killed the game off. Darren Williams left defenders in his wake before crossing for Ben Heath to strike.

Veteran Stuart Rain notched his 144th Welsh Premier goal in the dying minutes after good work by Cooke, Mazzarella and Williams, to give the final score a flattering look.
