O Toole injury not as bad as feared

The Nomads are pleased to announce that the extent of striker Gary O'Toole's knee injury isn't as bad as first feared.

The Nomads' top scorer was stretchered off in the second half of Saturday's Welsh Cup tie following a colission with the Caersws goalkeeper and the worst was feared.

Gary went for an X-ray on Monday and following a visit to a specialist this morning, Gary has been informed that the X-ray came back all clear and that there is just a light strain to his knee ligaments.

When asked about when he thought he would be back in action, Gary said "I'm working hard to be back in action for Friday's trip to Bala Town as watching from the sidelines against Port Tablot was horrible!"
