The Nomads are pleased to announce the arrival of Jay Colbeck at Deeside Stadium.

Jay is a product of the Wrexham Academy, where he played for the youth and reserves sides at The Racecourse before making his senior debut against Kettering Town, scoring twice in the process.

At Wrexham, he scored four goals in 11 starts between 2011 and 2013.

Following knee surgery at the start of last season, Jay spent part of the season on loan at Welsh Premier League side Bangor City, scoring one goal from four starts and 3 sub appearances.

Jay was delighted with the move stating "I am delighted to have signed. Mark [McGregor] sold the club to me straight away with his aims for the season and the way he wants the team to play.

I can't wait for the season to start now and hopefully I can score lots of goals and contribute to a successful season for the team."

On a related note, striker Mike Hayes recently departed Deeside Stadium for a return to Bala Town.
