The Club can confirm that goalkeeper Terry McCormick has departed Deeside Stadium.

Terry has left The Club to join a number of former Nomads players at Flint Town United as our local neighbours – and once hosts – look to make the step up into the Welsh Premier League following their recently gained Domestic License.

Terry was named as the Goalkeeper of the year in the Dave Jones Daily Post Awards in December 2013, and in January 2014 was named in the official Welsh Premier League Team of Phase One.

Terry originally played for The Nomads between 2008 and 2010 before joining Bala Town and Conwy Borough before returning to Deeside Stadium.

On Terry’s departure, Manager, Allan Bickerstaff said “Terry has been a great servant to The Club and has been a pleasure to deal with.  He was instrumental in The Nomads reching seventh place in the League last season and we wish him well with his new club.”

Assistant Manager Jay Catton added “All the best to Terry – he’s been a fantastic ‘keeper and person at The Nomads - a great role model for our academy players.”
