A player comfortable as a defender or midfielder who when with Liverpool won the FA Youth Cup twice. He later joined Bolton Wanderers making regular appearances for the reserves.

In January 2009 he joined Carlisle and made his debut in the League One clash with Walsall. Since then he has played for Stafford Rangers and Newport County. After a spell with Guiseley he joined Vauxhall Motors in June 2012 but re-joined Guiseley at the start of this season.

Mike joined The Nomads in January 2014.
