ANDY MORRISON

First Team Manager

Morrison joined The Nomads in November 2015.

Morrison, who left Airbus UK Broughton in July 2015, was instrumental in helping the Broughton-based club reach the Europa League Qualifying Stages for three successive seasons, finishing 2nd twice and 3rd in the Welsh Premier League between 2013 - 2015.

As a professional player, he captained the Manchester City side who won the Division 2 Play Off final at Wembley in 1999 and now represents the Etihad outfit as an Official Fan Ambassador - a role that still continues today.

Morrison's first season at Deeside saw him lead The Nomads to their highest ever league finish and Europa League qualification before progressing to the Second Qualifying Round, defeating Norwegian side Stabæk Fotball over two legs, and not conceding a goal in the process. Morrison built on his first year of success and then guided the team to another record finish, as runners up in the league for the 2016-17 campaign, also holding the record for least goals conceded in the season with just 24 goals.
