The club are pleased to confirm the promotion of Oliver Byrne to our first choice goalkeeper following the departure of Lewis Brass.
Byrne joined The Nomads in January 2020 having previously at Stevenage Borough and Atherton Collieries, having spent much of his youth at three of the top academies in the country in the form of Blackburn Rovers, Cardiff City and Manchester United.
Byrne was part of the Manchester United U18 team that also included Marcus Rashford, Tim Fosu-Mensah and Axel Tuanzebe.
Additionally, The Nomads would like to welcome back to the club, stalwart goalkeeper Terry McCormick, who rejoins the club for another spell as backup to Ollie. McCormick has made over 130 appearances for The Nomads and last played for The Nomads back in 2015 and will be available for selection upon international clearance being granted.
