Connah's Quay Nomads Nomads are delighted to announce that Women's Captain, Kirstie Kural will take charge of our Women's U19 side at the beginning of the 2023/24 season.

Kirstie Kural has been one of the most recognisable names across the whole of Connah's Quay Nomads over the past few years and now our Women's Captain is taking her Nomads journey to the next step by becoming our Women's U19 Manager, taking over the incredible job done by Stephen Boyes.

Kural, who produced a remarkable performance in front of 9,511 fans at The Racecourse Ground this past Sunday against Wrexham Women, will be hoping to lead the future stars of our Women's team and those taking part in our Coleg Cambria Scholarship Programme to huge success in the Genero Adran North U19's league.

There are still many opportunities for U19 girls to take their footballing journey to the next step and be a part of our Coleg Cambria Scholarship Programme. If you’re an U19 with hopes of becoming a future part of Connah's Quay Nomads Women, you can contact Kirstie Kural at 07955 638771 or contact Women’s Manager Jordan Parry at 07960 364142.

Both Parry and Kural joined Connah's Quay Nomads Women at the start of the 2021/22 season and have worked together ever since. The most memorable moments from their time at Deeside include a NEWFA Cup Final victory against Llandudno which saw Kural on the scoresheet, a 3-2 victory over Adran Premier side Barry Town in the Genero Adran Trophy and a penalty shootout win over Wrexham in this season's NEWFA Cup in which Kural bagged a brace, eventually sending Nomads on their way to a fantastic away day win.

Alongside her new role, Kirstie will remain as Captain of our Women's side next season and will continue to perform week in week out as manager Jordan Parry and the girls look to seek promotion into the Genero Adran Premier next season.

Having scored a whopping 56 goals in 41 games across all competitions during her time at The Nomads, Kural will be looking to become an inspiring role model to younger girls and help grow the Women’s game.

Ahead of her new role, Kural shared her thoughts on this exciting opportunity;
"I'm really looking forward to taking on the new role of Women's U19s Manager next season as everyone involved already have an unbelievable amount of potential and I think I can help them push towards the next level. I will also be looking to apply for my UEFA A License next season as well which I'm really excited about. I’m always looking to improve myself and my knowledge of the game to implement this into my coaching and my own game."
