Connah’s Quay Nomads are delighted to confirm our place in the 2024/25 UEFA Europa Conference League.

Our berth in the First Qualifying Round of the competition was confirmed following the second JD Welsh Cup Semi Final on Saturday evening which saw The New Saints confirmed as our opponents in the final at Newport County’s Rodney Parade.

With the JD Welsh Cup Final now featuring the top two teams in the JD Cymru Premier, the European place allocated to the Cup competition is then moved to the League competition and as such, Nomads cannot finish any lower than third position, thus securing our place in Europe for the second consecutive season and will mark out eighth entry into Europe in the past nine seasons.

The draw for the First Qualifying Round will take place at UEFA’s Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on 18th June with the fixtures to be played on 11th and 18th July.

A number of teams from across Europe have already qualified including Georgian side Dinamo Tbilisi whom we faced in 2020, along with the Irish duo of Derry City and Shelbourne.
