Jones and Petrie to depart

The Nomads can confirm that Jamie Petrie and Rob Jones will be departing Deeside Stadium this summer, with early indications leading us to believe that the pair will be joining Bangor City.

Player/Manager Mark McGregor said: "Unfortunately, after a very good first full season back in the Welsh Premier League, we have scored a lot of goals and created a lot of chances, so the bigger players were always going to make a move on our attacking players, but after offering the pair new contracts, they have decided it is time to move on.

"I have personally thanked both of the players for their services to the Club, as they were a large part of how far we have come on over the past three successful years.

"I have already identified a and met with a number of players with the intention of signing them in the closed-season, so hopefully we'll have some slightly better transfer news in the near future!"

The Nomads would like to wish Jamie and Rob all the best in their future endeavours (except if and when they come up against us!), and we were very fortunate to have had such committed players for the past four years.
