Owen arrived at Deeside Stadium in May 2016 as one of Andy Morrison's first signings at the club and has gone on to be a mainstay in the first team ever since his arrival. Jay made his debut for the club against Stabæk in the Europa League and has since racked up 146 starts in all competitions for the club, picking up the JD Welsh Cup, Nathaniel MG Cup and most recently the JD Cymru Premier league title in his time with the club. Danny has signed a new two year deal with the club.

Danny commented; "I'm delighted to re-sign with the club - I've had a brilliant two years and I can't wait to get back to work with the lads and staff and strive for more silverware."

Manager Andy Morrison added; "I am delighted to get two of our senior players signed up for the forthcoming season. Both players are right at the top of their game and have been a pleasure to work with - they both thoroughly deserve their new deals."
