Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that Conor Harwood has left the club to join Flint Town United.

Harwood originally joined The Nomads at U14 level and has been a part of the club's academy ever since, before progressing to the first team setup.

Harwood made his competitive debut for The Nomads when he started against Denbigh Town in the 2016 Nathaniel MG Cup, providing the assist for Michael Wilde's second goal on that evening. He then went on to make Cymru Premier history as he was the first Millennium-born player to play in the league as he came on as an 88th minute substitute against Airbus on Boxing Day 2016.

Harwood scored an important winner against Bala Town in the 2018/19 season, with a last minute header to give The Nomads a 1-0 victory and also netted against his new team in the 2019/20 Nathaniel MG Cup match at Deeside Stadium.

Harwood leaves the club having made four competitive starts and 14 substitute appearances for the club, scoring on two occasions.

Good luck Conor.
