Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to announce that 23-year-old defender, Priestley Farquharson, has signed a new one year deal at the club.

Farquharson joined The Nomads from Bostik League South Central Division side, Hayes and Yeading United in January 2019 and made his Nomads debut in an impressive 6-2 victory away at Caernarfon Town in February 2019. He was part of the 2019/20 squad which won the JD Cymru Premier and Nathaniel MG Cup double, scoring twice in the league campaign with strikes against Cefn Druids and Airbus as he made 24 starts in all competitions.

Farquharson is the former captain of the Brunel University side and is also an England international for the national beach soccer team having represented the national side at the 2018 Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal at Alghero, Italy.

On Priestley's new deal, Andy Morrison said "I'm delighted that Priestley has re-signed - we have been negotiating throughout the summer and we've got the deal over the line. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Priestley and watching him become the player I believe he can be."
