The club are pleased to announce that Michael Wilde has been shortlisted for the Welsh Premier League Player of the Month award with Andy Morrison also being shortlisted for the Manager of the Month award.
In December, The Nomads picked up four victories, one draw and only lost once to TNS. The side scored 14 goals, conceding just five goals, including a 5-1 victory over Aberystwyth and a 4-0 victory over Newtown. Additionally, The Nomads progressed to the next round of the JD Welsh Cup with a 3-0 victory over Cwmbran Celtic.
During December, Wilde scored four goals as he hit two doubles against both Aberystwyth and Newtown while also providing an assist to Michael Bakare in the 1-1 draw with Cefn Druids.
Wilde has continued his goalscoring form into January with a headed goal against Barry Town United this past Saturday.
Congratulations to both Mike and Andy who have both been shortlisted for the awards. The public vote will open on Wednesday morning at 11am with the winners announced within the next week.
