Connah's Quay Nomads are delighted to announce that Rob Hughes has signed a new one year deal at the club.

Hughes joined The Nomads in January following his return from Australia, and went on to make 5 starts for The Nomads in the second phase of the season, as well as three substitute appearances including a late run in the JD Welsh Cup Final victory. Hughes netted once in the five games, scoring a unique goal, directly from a corner against Cardiff Met in late March.

On Hughes' new deal, Manager Andy Morrison said "I'm delighted that Rob has decided to sign for another year - he has done well since joining us in January. He can see how we do things right and wants to be a part of Connah's Quay Nomads going forwards, even though he had some lucrative offers on the table from other Welsh Premier League sides."
