John Disney

Disney joined The Nomads from Conference North side, Hednesford Town in January 2016 having had previous spells at Chester, Telford, Northwich and Stockport County.

Disney's competitive debut for The Nomads came in a 2-1 victory over MBi Llandudno in March 2016. Disney went on to play in The Nomads' first ever UEFA Europa League campaign and suffered the unfortunate achievement of being sent off while not on the pitch in the away leg against Stabæk for simply warming down.

The 2016-17 campaign was a very positive one for Disney however, as he went on to make 26 starts for the side, with many of those starts coming as a makeshift central defender, a role he took on with ease as The Nomads remained unbeaten for the first 14 domestic games, with Disney a large part of that success.

Disney left Deeside in May 2017 having made 43(+4) competitive appearances for The Nomads and went on to join Altrincham Town. Disney returned to the Welsh Premier League in January 2018 with Bala Town before re-signing with The Nomads in June 2018, making his second debut for the club in the UEFA Europa League tie with Shakhtyor Soligorsk.
