PRIESTLEY FARQUHARSON



Farquharson joined The Nomads from Bostik League South Central Division side, Hayes and Yeading United in January 2019, having made over 45 starts for the club over the previous three seasons. Having previously played for Bishop's Stortford, Hitchin Town and Billericay Town, Farquharson is the former captain of the Brunel University side and is also an England international for the national beach soccer team having represented the national side at the 2018 Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal at Alghero, Italy.

Farquharson made his Nomads debut in an impressive 6-2 victory away at Caernarfon Town in February 2019. He was part of the 2019/20 squad which won the Nathaniel MG Cup and JD Cymru Premier double and was also named as the League's Young Player of the Season.

Farquharson left The Nomads in January 2021 when Newport County paid an undisclosed fee to sign him on a two and a half year contract.
